Series EE bonds and Series I bonds are for sale at all branches for as little as $25 per bond. For both EE and I series bonds, denominations of $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 are available. The EE bonds are issued at 50% of face value (a $50 EE bond costs $25). The I bonds are sold at face value (a $100 I bond costs $100.)

Bonds are a safe and affordable investment backed by the full faith and credit of the United States.

Savings bonds earn interest up to 30 years. However, your investment is available to you earlier if you need it. Interest is paid when you redeem the bond. Bonds must be held for at least 12 months from the issue date before they can be redeemed. All bonds less than five years old are subject to a 3-month interest penalty.

Visit either a teller or an account services representative at any of our branches to purchase savings bonds. You will receive your bonds in the mail within 15-20 business days. If you are purchasing the bond as a gift for someone, gift cards are available to take with you.

In addition to bond sales, we redeem Series E, EE, I, and savings note bonds. Visit any branch.

Bond interest rates are determined by the U.S. Treasury Department. Check out www.treasurydirect.gov for rate and bond value information.
