Foreign Currency


Members can order foreign currency notes and have the currency shipped directly to their residence or to the credit union for pickup.

Details:

  • Request foreign currency in person (by visiting any branch location), online (by clicking on the blue box below) or via faxed, signed request (send a fax request to 734-996-4522, ATTN: Member Service Phone Center).
  • Currency orders must be paid in advance.
  • Members pay the shipping and processing fee.
  • Most currencies ordered through UMCU during normal business hours are available at a UMCU branch the next business day for only $17.00.
  • Some less common currencies take additional time - Call the Member Service Phone Center at 734-662-8200 or 1-800-968-8628 to determine the time for your specific order.
