University of Michigan Credit Union knows the importance of good savings habits at any age. That’s why we offer several programs to help develop these valuable skills. Discover how your son or daughter can enroll in one of our many programs that show youth extra ways to save and shop by checking out Penny Pioneers, Financial Fitness, and Independent Edge. Youth and their parents may explore "Googolplex*", the online magazine (click on the googolplex box above), to learn about fun ways to earn and save money.
- Penny Pioneers - Special offers, games and accounts for members age 12 and under.
- Financial Fitness - Learn how important it is to save and have fun in the process. Members who are 11 to 15 can become part of this great program.
- Independent Edge - Teen
members who are 16, 17 and 18 can enjoy the freedom of a checking account
and debit card after completing this program.
