Financial Fitness
This program offers special account benefits for our members age
11-14 who attend one free Financial Fitness educational event held in
the evening. The Financial Fitness event is offered semi-annually in
January and June and is held at our new Jackson Road facility.
The
Financial Fitness event combines fun and education by featuring a pizza
dinner, ice-breaker games, prize drawings, and several short educational
sessions on saving money, earning money, and spending it wisely. Benefits for those who attend include:
- A Financial Fitness share account designation on your child's current account. Click here for current rate.
- A quarterly savings bonus - $1 for every $100 on deposit at the end of each quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31). There is a maximum $10 bonus per quarter.
- Availability of a 3-month* Term Savings Account (TSA) with a minimum opening deposit of $100.
- A quarterly letter that describes opportunities to earn cash by completing specific projects.
- Financial Fitness members will retain their Financial Fitness status until they their 16th birthday.
*A penalty will be charged for early withdrawal.
