We’re kicking off our 8th annual Shop Local Give Local campaign! This year, the University of Michigan Credit Union is teaming up with the Ann Arbor Community Center during the holiday season to provide an opportunity for UMCU members to show their local pride by shopping and dining for a good cause.
How It Works
From November 1 through December 31, 2023, every time our members make a purchase with their UMCU Visa Platinum Optimum or Visa Cash Rewards credit card at a local participating store, restaurant, or business, UMCU matches one percent of the total sales, (up to a grand total of $5,000) and donates it to the Ann Arbor Community Center!**

With a primary focus on socioeconomically disadvantaged youth, adults, and families, the Ann Arbor Community Center provides programs and services that promote self-reliance, social and economic well-being, diversity, and community involvement. We combine our local volunteers and funding from our local community to provide:
