We have partnered with Fidelity Information Services (FIS), to offer the Falcon Neural Network, a fraud identification service that considers your normal spending habits and "scores" Visa credit card and Visa Check Card transactions to determine whether they are suspicious.
When unusual activity is detected, FIS contacts you to determine whether the activity may be the result of fraud. Some of these calls are completed using an automated system designed to verify transactions with the card holder. If a card holder is unavailable, a message is left for the card holder to call 800-890-5097 or 800-437-9392 to verify recent card activity. Responding to these phone calls in a timely manner can prevent your card from being suspended while the credit union researches the validity of your transactions.
To guarantee that you are speaking with a legitimate FIS representative, please tell them you will call them back. Then call FIS at 800-890-5097 or 800-437-9392 and verify your recent card transactions. If you are uncomfortable responding to a phone call from FIS, you can also contact the credit union during normal business hours and we can assist you in verifying recent card activity.
FIS will never ask you for your account number or PIN (password or access code) or your entire Social Security number. You may be asked for your card number, but not the expiration date of the card. You will only be asked to verify specific transactions on your account.
